So I now have 10k (approx 15000 steps) under my belt. And a free Saturday afternoon too. Sunny day and it’s a trip up Bin Hill. I confess I had never heard of this little gem of a walk. No far really at just over 5k but it’s uphill all the way (until you are coming back down of course). A good test of my ability to walk, talk and breathe. I soon discovered I can manage only two out three of those tasks. I can walk and I can talk…but I figure breathing is pretty crucial really.
Just discovered this new app on my phone too which tracks those steps. Fab! Provided I don’t want to do anything else – like take a photo:)
Feeling great already and still only two walks in…
